49- A Fall From Grace

On the one hand, it is humbling to shoot seven strokes worse across nine holes than I did the previous day. However, on the other hand, this was my previous best score on this course. The game is certainly trending. But it’s coming at a cost - literally. Today, another $30 to Ramona, bringing the total for June to $695. The round was fairly decent, save for two back-to-back blow up holes on the 4th and 5th due to some disappearing balls that a lesser man would have addressed with a gallery drop. Perhaps I should change the vernacular from blow-up holes to blow-out holes, as Ramona’s had a few of them on her own journey. She’s packing on the pounds, and all of her chins would agree. At the end of June, the best-fit line is still indicating this will be down to the wire, with me projected to cross the line sometime in early August.
