Why is it called “Vashon Baby Fade?”

It’s a silly pun.
In common parlance, a “baby” is the larval stage of a human.
In modern slang, a “fade” is a fight or challenge.
In golf jargon, a “baby fade” is a highly controlled and useful shot that curves slightly from left to right, prized for its precision.
How are you able to golf so often with a newborn?

My wife is amazing. Also, Vashon Island Golf and Country Club is a fairly quick course, and as a proprietary member I can play it any time. Unless there’s a lot of traffic, 9 holes takes about 70 minutes, and the course is a mere 10 minutes from home.
